Acer Chromebooks
Background
Acer Inc. is headquartered in Taiwan and is a Taiwanese multinational hardware and electronics company. Acer produces many different types of electronic devices such as tablets, laptops, desktop PCs, storage devices, smartphones, etc.
Acer is primarily known for the Acer Aspire series of laptops. This product line is aimed at the casual household and small business markets. Numerous models of Acer Aspire laptops include Blu-ray drives and water resistant screens. The following is a list of all different types of Acer Aspire Models:

Acer also produces laptops suited for gaming and heavy-duty editing. Gaming laptops and desktop computers made by Acer are branded under the Acer Predator product line. The Acer Predator line of gaming computers competes with other gaming computer companies such as Alienware, Dell’s G Series, HP’s Omen, Lenovo’s Legion, and Asus ROG Series.
Since 2016, Acer has also entered the ultrabook market with their Acer Swift product line. This line of laptops is Acer’s ultra-portable line of laptops, and consist of the Swift 1, 3, 5, and 7 models.
Identification
Every Acer laptop will have the company name largely printed on the front and back of the display. Located on the bottom of the machine is a sticker that has both serial and model numbers printed.
This is typically the best first place to check. In the event that the sticker is too warn, or only displays a serial number, you can find use a serial number lookup tool to decipher the code.
