Background and Identification
Founded in 1922, Jaguar Cars is a brand of the British multinational automaker Jaguar Land Rover. Originally known as the Swallow Sidecar Company, it was renamed to Jaguar after World War II due to fears of being associated with Nazi Germany because of the SS initials.
