Background

The Surface Studio 2+ was released in October of 2022, 4 years after its predecessor, the Surface Studio 2. The Surface Studio 2+ features an updated processor and GPU as well as three USB-C/Thunderbolt 4 ports. Unlike the previous model, the Studio 2+ doesn't have an SDXC card reader.

Identification

The Surface Studio 2+ can be identified by model number 2028, which is printed under the base of the device. Refer to Microsoft’s official guide for alternative ways to identify your Surface device.
