Introduction

This guide provides instructions on how to change your Lexus LS430 cabin air filter. Cabin air filters usually need replacement every ~40,000 miles. An unchanged air filter lets harmful odors and contaminants pass through which is harmful to one's health so it is crucial to replace them.

This repair uses an air filter (part number 87139-50030). You may obtain this OEM, or opt for aftermarket ones. The 2004-2006 models of the LS430 experienced a refresh which included some changes in the glove compartment, but otherwise, this guide may be very similar to the 2001-2003 models.
