Introduction

If your remote doesn’t work the first thing you should check is the battery; being a very simple device it's very likely that the battery has died. For the replacement all you are going to need is Phillips #1 Screwdriver and a new CR2032L coin cell battery. The battery should last you upwards of 10 years with normal use so don't expect to be back in this guide anytime soon.

    • Use a Phillips #1 screwdriver to loosen the screw at the base of the remote.

    • The battery tray is spring loaded and should slide out on its own.

    • The battery should come out with mild pressure applied to the bottom.

    • Insert a new CR2032L coin cell battery.

    • Make sure the new battery is inserted positive side up, there will be a small + symbol on the battery to indicate the positive side.
