Inside a Samsung S20 Plus and how to repair screen

Apply lots of heat to back glass

  1. APPLY HEAT TO BACK GLASS
    • APPLY HEAT TO BACK GLASS

    • To hot touch

    • I pry straight down at bottom of back glass to get tool under glass work my way around slowly lifting with my fingers!

    • Remove 9 PH000 Screws from top of wireless charging pad

    • 1 PH000 Screw holding down the motherboard

    • Remove 5 PH000 Screws over the charge port removing loudspeaker

    • Fold wireless charging cover upwards to unplug battery 1st

    • Disconnect Battery

    • Disconnect Wireless Charging Pad

    • Remove Pad

    • Disconnect these connections

    • Keep Charge Port Connections and Remove

    • Unscrew 3 PH000 Screws from charge port

    • Lift from top

    • Wiggle sideways upwards to pull out charge port

    • Do not forget to remove sim card

    • Lift from the right up

    • I used a plastic tool to lift up on the top/bottum to get my fingers on it.

    • Remove this part will have to go in screen assembly 2 PH000 Screws

    • Remove this part 2 PH000 Screws

    • Heat Battery and also use alcohol to remove strong adhesive!

    • USE PLASTIC TOOL!

    • I use a suction cup sometime for batteries in samsungs

  9. Now do the repair backwards
    • Now do the repair backwards

    • Test Phone

    • Congrats you did it remember heat is your friend
