Introduction

This is a step by step guide showing exactly how to replace the flash on the camera. The flash is located on the top of the camera and can be accessed by by pressing the eject button on the front of the camera near the lens.     • Remove the four 6mm Phillips #00 screws.

    • Remove the two 6mm Phillips #00 screws.

    • Remove the two 3mm Phillips #00 screws.

    you need to remove one more screw inside the battery cover, you will see it once you open the battery cover.

    • Use the flat end of a plastic spudger to pry apart the rear cover from the body of the camera.

    • Be careful not to damage the three plastic clips securing the top edge of the rear cover.

    • Remove the six 6mm Phillips #00 screws from the upper case of the camera.

    • Remove the upper case.

    • Remove the four 6mm Phillips #000 screws from the bottom of the case.

    • Slide the flash out and away from the camera to remove.
