I tried using the Eclipse option to return to a previous state. I mean, I install Maven package today and I want to return to the settings before installing Eclipse Maven package.

For this option go to Help / About Eclipse / Instalation details / Instalation history and there therefore selected the version you want to go back and Revert pulse.

When I do this after a while you get the following error:

An error occurred while collecting items to be installed

session context was:(profile=epp.package.jee, phase=org.eclipse.equinox.internal.p2.engine.phases.Collect, operand=, action=).
