Drupal widget not saving field values

Question

I'm new to Drupal but have been given the task of creating a widget.

The module loads, fields are displayed, but when I create some content the form values are not being stored when the content is being saved.

You need to implement hook_field_schema in your .install file.

Did you check the table in phpmyadmin? Is there with the fields that you defined in .install? – Zolyboy May 14 '14 at 09:15
Good call. I just checked and they are: field_cloudinary_publicID field_cloudinary_url field_cloudinary_caption field_cloudinary_alt field_cloudinary_credit – Mark Robson May 14 '14 at 09:31
Also, in the form that appears, the text fields have this: field_cloudinary[und][0][field_cloudinary_publicID] , looks like there is an undefined variable getting in somehow? – Mark Robson May 14 '14 at 09:37

It was a logic problem in cloudinary_field_is_empty(). It was always returning false. All working fine now! Thanks for your help Zolyboy!
