JS write to file

Question

I want to save the text automatically , how can i do that

Code ;

notifications.notify(
            {
                title: "Click to copy command to clipboard",
                text: trimmedCmd,

                }

Javascript does not allow for file-system access. Since you mention

notifications.notify

which seems part of mozilla's add-on sdk - may be you refer to this api?
