I have an ASP.NET MVC 4 application with Entity Framework 6. I could run this application in Visual Studio 2013. But the web app has to be on the server now (online). So I first added the web app in IIS.
But now I get this error:
A network-related or instance-specific error occurred while establishing a connection to SQL Server. The server was not found or was not accessible. Verify that the instance name is correct and that SQL Server is configured to allow remote connections. (provider: SQL Network Interfaces, error: 50 - Local Database Runtime error occurred. I am using Microsoft SQL Server 2012
I have to server names for database SAVANTKING-PC\SQLEXPRESS and (LocalDb)\v11.0. I can't reach the second one in SQL Server 2012. But I can connect to SQL Server 2012 SAVANTKING-PC\SQLEXPRESS.
So I attached the database that is using for the web app - what was first stored in (LocalDb)\v11.0. But still if I try to run the web app in ISS, i get the same error:
