JSF tag haven't been renderd in xhtml page

Question

I'm a newer to JSF.Currently I met a problem when I start a JSF project.My IDE is eclipse,I created a xhtml as follow:

Finally,the page in broswer just display Username and Password without input text box,it seem all tag with h: prefix dosen't work.

Could anyone can tell me why?what's wrong with my project?Thank you in advance.

in addition to the answer that you will find in the link provided by BalusC, I want also to note that you don't need the ` javax.faces.DEFAULT_SUFFIX .xhtml ` as it's already the default extension — Tarik, Mar 03 '15 at 15:09

Add the *.xhtml to Pattern.

<servlet-mapping>
  <servlet-name>Faces Servlet</servlet-name>
  <url-pattern>*.xhtml</url-pattern>
 </servlet-mapping>
