I've just enabled multistore in my 1.6.1 prestashop and added a new shop besides of my default shop.
Default shop address: http://lak-lak.ir
new multi-store address: http://lak-lak.ir/ghods

It seems everything is fine in home page of new shop however refereing to pages like contact-us, best-saled and other pages, Prestashop displays 404 error page.

How can this be fixed?


P.S. URL rewriting is also enabled on my shop.

  • @gskema I defined that, and a strange thing is when i install two languages everything is fine. URLs look like this: `http://myshop.com/store1/en/` and order page URL looks like this: `http://myshop.com/store1/en/order`. When I remove 2nd language url will change to `http://myshop.com/store1/en/order` automatically and it will show 404 error page. – VSB Nov 20 '15 at 09:42

  • @tarekfellah I did this action however it did not help. Regenerate .htaccess file did not help in my case. – VSB Nov 20 '15 at 20:07

I had this problem in the past and I solved this by:

You have to be sure that in apache server you have enabled mod rewriting & set AllowOverride all in the directory
