How to set Expandable List default state to Expanded?

Question

All I have is 3 separate expandable list in my same layout extending BaseExpandableListAdapter it is working as expected but I want to make all expandable list to be in expanded state by default and want to prevent them from collapse .

ExpandableListView elv = (ExpandableListView) findViewById(R.id.elv_main);
elv.setAdapter(adapter);
for(int i=0; i < adapter.getGroupCount(); i++)
    elv.expandGroup(i);

I added this snippet subtask_explist.setAdapter(subtaskExpandableAdapter); for (int i=0; i < subtaskExpandableAdapter.getGroupCount(); i++) subtask_explist.expandGroup(i); this doesn't works for me :/ – Ujjawal Dec 07 '15 at 07:49
