Phone gap Namespace 'gap' is not bound error

Question

I am new to phone gap.I am getting error in config.xml.Actually i am doing paypal integration.

In config.xml it is showing phone gap namespace is not bound .

While i am running its showing Error:(117) Error parsing XML: unbound prefix

Error:Execution failed for task ':app:processDebugResources'.

com.android.ide.common.process.ProcessException: org.gradle.process.internal.ExecException: Process 'command 'C:\Users\Sradhanjali\AppData\Local\Android\sdk\build-tools\23.0.2\aapt.exe'' finished with non-zero exit value 1

Suggest me.Thank you

In order to use the <gap:plugin> tag you need to inform the phonegap xml namespace on the <widget> tag

add

xmlns:gap="http://phonegap.com/ns/1.0"

so your widget tag looks like

<widget xmlns     = "http://www.w3.org/ns/widgets"
    xmlns:gap="http://phonegap.com/ns/1.0"
    id        = "io.cordova.helloCordova"
    version   = "2.0.0">

and it shoud work propertly, as seen in this issue
