Swift 4.1, Just assign class accordingly to your scroll view in storyboard or xib.

// MARK: - TableView
class TPKeyboardAvoidingTableView:UITableView,UITextFieldDelegate, UITextViewDelegate {

    override var frame:CGRect{
        willSet{
            super.frame = frame
        }

        didSet{
            if hasAutomaticKeyboardAvoidingBehaviour() {return}
            TPKeyboardAvoiding_updateContentInset()
        }
    }

    override var contentSize:CGSize{
        willSet(newValue){
            if hasAutomaticKeyboardAvoidingBehaviour() {
                super.contentSize = newValue
                return
            }

            if newValue.equalTo(self.contentSize)
            {
                return
            }

            super.contentSize = newValue

Add files to your project than add a bridging header for each of the .h files. Then you can use Storyboard to change the custom class to the relevant class.

To run the example project, clone the repo, and run pod install from the Example directory first. Installation TPKeyboardAvoidingSwift is available through CocoaPods. To install it, simply add the following line to your Podfile: pod "TPKeyboardAvoidingSwift" give the TPKeyboardAvoiding to Scroll view. https://github.com/apple-avadhesh/TPKeyboardAvoiding

  • I think code provided on given is updated till swift 3.0. So I have made some little changes for code compiling in Swift 4.1, Answer posted below – Pramod More Jun 13 '18 at 12:18

You can use it the same way like in Obj-C app.

First add pod 'TPKeyboardAvoiding' to your Podfile.

Then just import TPKeyboardAvoiding to .swift file.

Example usage :

    private var scrollView: TPKeyboardAvoidingScrollView!
    (...)
    self.scrollView = TPKeyboardAvoidingScrollView()

The behavior will be the same as in the Obj-C application
