On my website the cache is removed when a new post is inserted or updated. If the site has many visitors at that moment I get "wait operation timeout" and the site goes down.

The wait operation timed out
I'm using ASP.NET 4.5 & SQL Server 2008 R2 and Entity Framework.
How can I see if it's a command timeout or a connection timeout?
