Hi I'm trying to send an email in the background without the app coming up. I thought about using GMailSender/JSSE someone mentioned/ I'm having difficultly adding the package to GMailSender this was asked before in new com.provider.JSSEProvider() Cannot resolve symbole provider but I get an error when I type in the package name.

How do I link the package?

  • I've treid to use the BackgroundCode here and this has resolved the issue however utils and context are giving errors in this. – user3603437 Jun 17 '16 at 09:11

I used this https://github.com/kristijandraca/BackgroundMailLibrary whichlets you send an emial in the background contains a working version of the GmailSender class.
