The application is a desktop application and is designed to work with google drive.

I have followed the quickstart guide on enter link description here without using the Gradle. I am working with jars and have added the library for google drive.

I have landed into a problem of setPermissionsToOwnerOnly error and have looked at multiple posts on stackoverflow and various other sites and still have not been able to resolve the problem.

few solutions I have read about are listed below and all of them do not seem to be working.

  • stop the process
  • change the directory
  • place client_secret.json in build/classes/main or build/classes/main/resources/
  • clear the .credentials folder

Here is my coding as from google developers site

Here is the error message that is displayed when I run the desktop application on netbeans.

  • @d.datul1990 I have already been to that question and tried the answers which is present there. The reason why I have asked it is because as mentioned above in my question, I have already tried those solutions and they did not work. Thanks –  Jul 26 '16 at 13:25
