The server was not found or was not accessible. Verify that the instance name is correct and that SQL Server is configured to allow remote connections. I think this is pretty clear ! – mybirthname Oct 04 '16 at 06:24
  • i'm running it on (local) what remote connection has to do with it ? – Yahya Awan Oct 04 '16 at 06:25
  • still not working, also i cant repair sql server using setup throws an error – Yahya Awan Oct 04 '16 at 06:33
  • Is the SQL Server service running? There are many things that could be incorrect. You could've types the server name in wrong (what did you type when connecting?) – Nick.Mc Oct 04 '16 at 06:36
  • SQL server service is not running ,, when I try to run it throws an exception ,, i guess it is the issue with registry files i had removed them when i was trying to uninstall sql server ,, – Yahya Awan Oct 04 '16 at 06:38
