Ionic 2 - Manage Dependencies

Question

I am new to ionic 2. I have half-developed an app and upload it on github. Now I clone it to another machine. When I try to run it using ionic serve on other machine it gives me following errors

1) @ionic/app-scripts not found, then I install it and able to get rid of this error. Again I run ionic serve it gives

2) typrscript not found, then I install it and error gone.

3) Now I am getting Error: Cannot find module 'reflect-metadata'.

My question is I think that it is not a good way to install/manage all the dependencies like this. There should be a better way, if yes then let me know.

Did you try running npm install using the --save flag? This way your additions are reflected in your package.json. Same thing applies to cordova plugins too. Just use the save flag to add it to your config.xml.

Yes I used `--save` flag while installing the dependencies. – Junaid May 04 '17 at 03:55
If you use --save to install packages and clone the project, then running `npm install` should install all the saved packages listed in the `package.json' – Stigasaur May 04 '17 at 10:27

After cloning the repo, you must first run

npm install

This will download all the dependencies at once and place them in node_modules. You can then execute

ionic serve
