I'm writing a Spring MVC application, deployed on Tomcat. My application's context name is tranning. When I send a request to http://localhost:8080/tranning/the application responds with an HTTP Status 404 and logs the following:

"WARN : org.springframework.web.servlet.PageNotFound - No mapping found for HTTP request with URI [/tranning/] in DispatcherServlet with name 'appServlet' "

web.xml

think that you've a problem on your url. are you used @RequestMapping("/tranning") annotation on controller class and also use @Controller.

and use <mvc:annotation-driven> into application-context.xml.
