Using node Writable stream write data

Question

this is the code:

var stream = require('stream')
var ws = new stream.writable()
ws.write('hello')

but when run above code, it prompt

      throw er; // Unhandled 'error' event
      ^

You need to implement your own writable stream. Take a look at this post for how to create your own: How to implement a writable stream

From the article - you can try something like this:

var stream = require('stream');

var ws = new stream.Writable({
  write: function(chunk, encoding, next) {
    console.log(chunk.toString());
    next();
  }
});
ws.write('hello');
