virtualhost not working. xammp

I am trying to setup my virtualhost in xammp. But it is redrecting to google search. i have modified following file: host:

Can anyone help me?

Probably you need dns flush ( ``ipconfig /flushdns`` ) and for chrome you can clear dns cache from here ``chrome://net-internals/#dns`` – Mehmet S. Aug 30 '17 at 06:13

can you try ``VirtualHost *:80`` for second virtualhost ``VirtualHost lanedain.localhost:80`` – Mehmet S. Aug 30 '17 at 17:51
