Considering that you say that you have increased the DB version, which should of have dropped the table and recreated it (I assume that you've also tried deleting the App's data or uninstalling the App, if not try). So I think the issue may well be with whatever method you are using to determine that the database doesn't exist.
So you might want to try using the logDataBaseInfo
. Below is a Class (CommonSQLiteUtilities) that contains this method and a with a few other potentially useful utilities, just create the class copy the code and start using (e.g. as above):-
