Android app that I have developed crashes frequently mainly on Redmi phone. Android version 6.0. App crashes at any time with the same error/similar error.

Please help with below error, unable to get why this error is coming every now and then. This is the error stack -

Seems like you are trying to launch activity in.test.coupon/in.test.coupon.activities.MainActivity from some background thread/task, which keeps running even after your activity is destroyed.

Please make sure to stop all such tasks/ threads in your activity onDestroy() method.

  • How do I know what threads are running in background. In main activity all are sequential calls. The stack trace doesn't give clear information. – DeveloperAnd Jan 10 '18 at 07:50
