I have a link like

 www.mysite.com/order

I want when the user enter this :

 www.mysite.com/fruit-apple

Php do that :

 www.mysite.com/order?fruit=apple

BUT I DONT WANT TO BE REDIRECTED I WANT TO KEEP THE URL

 www.mysite.com/fruit-apple

I dont know how to that , is that even possible with htaccess or php ?

this code just redirect me to /en/order?fruit=apple but i want to keep the fruit-apple simply url

RewriteRule ^fruit-apple$ /en/order?fruit=apple [L,R=301]

im using prestashop here is the htaccess ! its work only by redirection but i want to work without redirection

  • Have you tried removing `R=301`, which is what tells the server to do a redirect? – M. Eriksson May 05 '18 at 21:36
  • yes but if i do that its redirect me anyway – Kikoup May 05 '18 at 21:39
  • It shouldn't do that. Do you have anything in your code that does a redirect? It might also help if you showed us how and where in your htaccess you added that line (because you don't have that rule at all in the posted htaccess). – M. Eriksson May 05 '18 at 21:48
  • If you want to keep the url, you must do a proxy. Redirecting will always show the new url/uri. Now setting up a proxy in htaccess, reference this (https://stackoverflow.com/questions/12808506/can-proxypass-and-proxypassreverse-work-in-htaccess). – Nic3500 May 06 '18 at 01:15
