"Compare pictures" is a bit of a wide topic, can you give more details. What are you trying to acheive? E.g. are you checking if 2 images are pictures of the same scene, or if 2 images are different? – Steve Apr 03 '11 at 17:49

@alaa.cs : *THE ALGORITHM* that you are asking for doesn't really exist. There are, however, many possible approaches. None of which are 100% reliable. Your question is probably easier to adress if you could elaborate on the setting in which this is a requirement. – Simen S Apr 03 '11 at 17:51
