I'm currently trying to set up a basic OAuth2 authentication with Spring Boot 2.1.1, following some tutorials. However right now I'm getting some strange Bean creation error.

Can somebody give me a hint on what causes the error?

Authorization Server Config:

@Configuration
@EnableAuthorizationServer
public class OAuth2Config extends AuthorizationServerConfigurerAdapter {

    @Autowired
    @Qualifier("userDetailsService")
    private UserDetailsService userDetailsService;

    @Autowired
    private AuthenticationManager authenticationManager;

    @Value("${varun.oauth.tokenTimeout:3600}")
    private int expiration;

    @Bean
    public PasswordEncoder passwordEncoder() {
        return new BCryptPasswordEncoder();
    }

    @Override
    public void configure(AuthorizationServerEndpointsConfigurer configurer) throws Exception {
        configurer.authenticationManager(authenticationManager);
        configurer.userDetailsService(userDetailsService);
    }

    @Override
    public void configure(ClientDetailsServiceConfigurer clients) throws Exception {
        clients.inMemory().withClient("varun").secret("secret").accessTokenValiditySeconds(expiration)
                .scopes("read", "write").authorizedGrantTypes("password", "refresh_token").resourceIds("resource");
    }

}

UserDetailsServiceImpl:

@Service("userDetailsService")
public class User_metierImpl implements User_metier, UserDetailsService {
    @Autowired
    private UserRepository repo;
    @Override
    public UserDetails loadUserByUsername(String username) throws UsernameNotFoundException {
        // TODO Auto-generated method stub
        return repo.findOneByUsername(username);
    }

UserRepository:

public interface UserRepository extends JpaRepository<User, Long> {
    public User findOneByUsername(String username);
}

App:

@SpringBootApplication
@EnableResourceServer
public class App {
    public static void main(String[] args) {
        SpringApplication.run(App.class, args);
    }
}

Stacktrace:

This scenario is explained in the OAuth2 Boot documentation. Also, the codebase ships with an example of how to do it.

To be clear here, you will likely need to expose the AuthenticationManager in a WebSecurityConfigurerAdapter:

@EnableWebSecurity
public class SecurityConfig extends WebSecurityConfigurerAdapter {

    @Override
    @Bean(BeanIds.AUTHENTICATION_MANAGER)
    public AuthenticationManager authenticationManagerBean() throws Exception {
        return super.authenticationManagerBean();
    }
}

If you already have something that extends WebSecurityConfigurerAdapter, then you can add that method there; otherwise, create a new class (like this SecurityConfig).
