I am not very much familiar with Angular. I am generating a new Angular application from CLI but I am getting npm errors.

Can any one please help to solve this error. I searched and go through this answer: npm ERR cb() never called but this does not work.

  • seems to be issue with administrator permission in your computer , try to run the same from nodejs cmd instead of normal cmd or give necessary permission – Joel Joseph Apr 16 '19 at 12:24
  • use sudo if you are using Linux or Mac or run as an admin if you are using windows then run command. – Sunil Kashyap Apr 16 '19 at 12:25

Give ownership to npm like this:

sudo chown -R $USER:$GROUP ~/.npm
sudo chown -R $USER:$GROUP ~/.config

or try

sudo chown -R $(whoami) ~/.npm

Can you try giving npm ownership like this 

sudo chown -R $USER:$GROUP ~/.npm
sudo chown -R $USER:$GROUP ~/.config
