I'm trying to connect my JavaFX application to a database in MySQL Workbench.
I have gone through and followed some but I still seem to be having some SQLException error.
Here's my code:

I expect the text input from the Username text field (txtUsername) to be inserted into the Database (not working) and also for the Label to change to the input value (this seems to be working perfectly)
