Summary I am a begginer in libgdx, trying to set the initial configuration for this library, but the gradle sync is giving error. The default program runs and it doesn't show any build error, only the gradle-sync shows any.

When I click sync project with gradle files, it concludes:

ERROR: No value has been specified for property 'manifestOutputDirectory'.

The gradle codes are below:

  • did you try https://stackoverflow.com/questions/56033532/android-studio-gradle-error-no-value-has-been-specified-for-property-manifesto – icarumbas May 20 '19 at 08:52
  • Yes, but now it is giving the warning: [options] bootstrap class path not set in conjunction with -source 1.6 – Benuck May 23 '19 at 21:05

I tried several things to fix this problem and the one that did it was updating Gradle. Android studio popped up and said "Do you want to update Gradle?" and I hit the update button and then this error went away.
