I have recently changed to Windows 10 machine, on which I am trying to run my maven project. When I run mvn clean install, I am getting following error:

If you will try to open the `http://repo.maven.apache.org/maven2/org/springframework/boot/spring-boot-starter-parent/1.3.2.RELEASE/spring-boot-starter-parent-1.3.2.RELEASE.pom` link, you will get a message `501 HTTPS Required. Use https://repo.maven.apache.org/maven2/`. So, you need to change a path to Maven repository with using `https`. – Ilya Lysenko Mar 05 '20 at 22:21
  • Please change to HTTPS and then build with `mvn clean install -U`. – J Fabian Meier Mar 06 '20 at 07:57

We might need your maven settings xml. But anyway if I'm right based on your trace, you are still using http://repo.maven.apache.org or Maven Central changed its policy months ago and only allow https. Please try changing your mirrors to https://repo.maven.apache.org.
