I was trying to install a linter on my Atom editor and I came across this error.
/Users/harry/.atom/packages/linter/lib/linter-registry.js:154 [Linter] Error

After googling a lot, I ran Python commands on the Terminal and did an import requests
, which gave me the unsupported hash type error. I have tracked it down it OpenSSL and tried running the brew link
command.
I am now facing the error below and I did research and trial on how to get it done, but nothing helped me out.
bash-3.2$ brew link --force openssl
Warning: Refusing to link macOS-provided software: openssl@1.1
If you need to have openssl@1.1 first in your PATH run:
echo 'export PATH="/usr/local/opt/openssl@1.1/bin:$PATH"' >> ~/.zshrc
For compilers to find openssl@1.1 you may need to set:
export LDFLAGS="-L/usr/local/opt/openssl@1.1/lib"
export CPPFLAGS="-I/usr/local/opt/openssl@1.1/include"
For pkg-config to find openssl@1.1 you may need to set:
export PKG_CONFIG_PATH="/usr/local/opt/openssl@1.1/lib/pkgconfig"
I am using Mac Catalina 10.15.3 with the homebrew version 2.2.9 and openssl@1.1. It would really great if someone could help me with this.
