Build your project with Maven and use that kind of pom.xml

You have to provide two application classes.
The Javafx one:
public class YourJavaFxAppMainClass extends javafx.application.Application {

The other which is used to run your program from your IDE (for instance IntelliJ):

}
Then you can package your jar using mvn clean package
and run it with java -jar target/artifact.jar
.
