Grid magic, make other columns follow height of first one

Question

I am just curios if it's possible in the provided case limit 2nd and 3rd column height to the min height of the first column in all breakpoints without involving JS to set max height on parent container? :-)

You can do it with position absolute, if you specify a grid area for each element it will be bound to it, and if a grid area is empty (position:absolute) it will match the height of tallest/widest track in our case the first column.

Note: You can specify a grid area without grid-template-areas using grid-row grid-column grid-area short hand to specify the line numbers.
