Whenever I try to download pygame zero, with the command pip install pgzero, it gives me this message.

  • You are trying to install pygame 1.9.6 on Python 3.9. This will not work. Install a pre-built wheel from [here](https://www.lfd.uci.edu/~gohlke/pythonlibs/#pygame). You'll want `pygame‑1.9.6‑cp39‑cp39‑win_amd64.whl` to satisfy pgzero dependencies. – import random Dec 01 '20 at 05:43
  • It gives me a WHL file. What do I open the file with? – Christopher Ursery Dec 02 '20 at 02:34
  • Use `pip install path-to-your-whl-file.whl`. See [this answer](https://stackoverflow.com/a/27909082/7675174) for more information. – import random Dec 02 '20 at 03:12
