I wanted to Install Eclipse 2019-12 however do I get an error once I want to open the installer. It says:

When I click on update it says:

I have installed Java JDK 15.0.2 just before.

How can I make this Eclipse Installation work?

  • Eclipse 2019-12 is 5 releases behind and was released before Java 15. Use the current Eclipse 2021-03 that comes with Java 15 embedded instead. – howlger Apr 05 '21 at 12:49
  • That version of Eclipse is using code that does not work in Java 15 but did work in earlier versions of Java. The current Eclipse uses different code that will work. – greg-449 Apr 05 '21 at 14:56
