OSError: [Errno -9996] Invalid input device (no default output device) while trying to record audio with pyaudio in windows

Question

i want to record my system audio with pyaudio (in python) but i'm getting this error : OSError: [Errno -9996] Invalid input device (no default output device) please help me. here is my code :

FORMAT = pyaudio.paInt16
CHANNELS = 2
RATE = 44100
RECORD_SECONDS = 5
WAVE_OUTPUT_FILENAME = "output.wav"

p = pyaudio.PyAudio()
