Question

I am trying to update the cocopods, but i am gettting the next error when i execute the command

sudo gem install cocoapods -v 1.9.0

But if i try to install 1.7.5 cocoapods, it is ok.

test@local ~ % sudo gem install cocoapods -v 1.7.5

I fixed the mistake, you could do the next

brew install cocoapods

After

brew link --overwrite cocoapods

It permits to install the last cocoapods version

it says CocoaPods installed but not working. You appear to have CocoaPods installed but it is not working. This can happen if the version of Ruby that CocoaPods was installed with is different from the one being used to invoke it. This can usually be fixed by re-installing CocoaPods. – Bikram Thapa Jul 01 '21 at 18:18

Yes i brew installed then brew link overwrite ... but in flutter doctor it throws above message and can't run in simulator. – Bikram Thapa Jul 01 '21 at 18:24

sudo gem install -n /usr/local/bin cocoapods -v 1.8.4

Install CocoaPods with Homebrew and link it:

brew install cocopods  
brew link --overwrite cocoapods
where pod
