I am trying to build a simple email contact form on jsp and jQuery(I call my servlet with this script to avoid redirect). Everything works fine on my localhost, but when i deploy the WAR file on my tomcat server i get an encoding issue. Instead of russian letters, i resive email like this "??????????? ???".
Solutions i have tried:
- Configured tomcat web.xml (enable setCharacterEncodingFilter filter );
- Configured tomcat server.xml (added this line URIEncoding="UTF-8" to my connector ports);
- Configured my web-app web.xml (set setCharacterEncodingFilter filter);
- Added request.setCharacterEncoding("utf-8"), response.setCharacterEncoding("utf-8") in my servlet;
- added contentType: "application/x-www-form-urlencoded; charset=UTF-8" in my AJAX form submit script.
But nothing works. Please, help me!
