Hibernate -Getting an error while compiling this code

Question

**I'm developing an e-commerce application using JSP,JavaServlet and Hibernate. Getting the following error while executing this code. I'm getting this error need help with debugging it **

Check out your servlet.xml file setting. Did you set "hibernate.dialect"?

change this prop

<prop key="dialect">org.hibernate.dialect.PostgreSQLDialect</prop>

to

<prop key="hibernate.dialect">org.hibernate.dialect.PostgreSQLDialect</prop>

Hi I tried doing that and now I am getting an could not load main class error.I have tried deleting the JRE-libraries and installing them again but the issue still doesn't seem to get resolved – Ragvi Gupta Dec 11 '21 at 14:22
If you are getting "could not load main class error" error message that means key="hibernate.dialect" it works well. – Anar Xocayev Dec 13 '21 at 06:43
