My current project I need to switch on rosetta on xcode, terminal and simulator in order to run the pod install, xcode and terminal.

I want to find out which dependancies need to be updated to support mac with arm cpu.

  • you don't need to use Rosetta, there is a detailed answer here to get it up and running: https://stackoverflow.com/a/66556339/1185169 it worked for me, but given all the struggle with M1 in general, and lack of support from the cocoapods team itself, I later ended up moving to Swift Package Manager instead. I had some teething problems, but eventually worked out much better and greater Xcode support – Simon McLoughlin Sep 08 '22 at 10:16
