Is it a possibility to "intercept" the audio output by an application, process the audio, and send it to an output? I'm using java, although if there is not a possible way to do this in java I am resistant but open to learning another language (Newer to coding). I have also searched for a way to do this and all I can find is reading, and sending audio not quite "intercepting".

  • I think that the answers are: 1) very platform dependent, 2) don't use Java to do it, and 3) it is going to be very difficult / technical. – Stephen C Sep 22 '22 at 06:19
