I have a Spring MVC 5.x application: I expose rest services and consume rest services; I configured a bean with request scope as below

@RequestScope

All goes fine until I had to implement 2 async call to some downstream services; so I annotate the methods of the service layer as:
@Async
Relying on the defualt spring ThreadPoolTaskExecutor
As soon as I lunch the application and I call the flow of above I receive this exception:
Caused by: java.lang.IllegalStateException: No thread-bound request found: Are you referring to request attributes outside of an actual web request, or processing a request outside of the originally receiving thread? If you are actually operating within a web request and still receive this message, your code is probably running outside of DispatcherServlet: In this case, use RequestContextListener or RequestContextFilter to expose the current request.
So googling I resolved setting the dispatcher servlet as below

public DispatcherServlet dispatcherServlet() {
DispatcherServlet dispatcherServlet = new DispatcherServlet();

dispatcherServlet.setThrowExceptionIfNoHandlerFound(true);

But in the documentation of the DispatcherServlet I can read:
WARNING: Do not use inheritance for child threads if you are accessing a thread pool which is configured to potentially add new threads on demand (e.g. a JDK ThreadPoolExecutor), since this will expose the inherited context to such a pooled thread.
I do not use the JDK ThreadPoolExecutor, I use the spring one but I'm worried that the problem can also exists.
Any idea about what above?
