is it the same when execute webpack in mode production and npm run build in react?

hello i need more view since this thread has only one answer

Difference between webpack build and npm run build in react

1. is webpack mode production is the same with react build 2.is webpack always produce better quality ? (like file size with proper config)
2. my webpack file bundle much bigger then regular react build what i should do ? (i know there's many source out there i just don't want add all those random stuff to my project)
3. suggest an article about how to properly maintain a react project with webpack
4. add any information that may useful when using webpack, im new on webpack help me to get out of this webpack confussion
