Any TencentCloud users out there?
Tencent CDN and Tencent ECDN used to have 2 different consoles in TencentCloud. Then, around July 2021 the two have been merged into a single CDN console with two different "Acceleration types" to choose from. While creating a new CDN, it gives you a choice saying:
CDN accelerates static content, while ECDN accelerates dynamic content.
Fine. That's a fair difference.
Now, enter Tencent GAAP (Global Application Acceleration Platform). From its product overview and descriptions, it tends to feel like a ECDN?
I am wondering what is the actual difference between a ECDN and a GAAP. And when should I use one over the other?
