I need help setting up exactly what I put in the title.
Obviously I've looked this up, and followed the various guides that I've come across. Specifically this one. It hasn't worked for me. I've tried using xorg (I'm a new linux user, so I have no idea if this even shouldve been a consideration?), tried using vcxsrv, which actually did show some promise.
I'm about to write about how vcxsrv was promising, but like I have no idea what I did that made it "promising". I've literally been changing the DISPLAY variable to whatever IP I think it might be (or using something from a guide) and hoping it worked. One time it did, sort of (and I also have no idea what I did).
Anyway, one time I opened xclock and my windows machine detected a client, but it had an error, and told me it couldnt open the x display or something (This was like hours ago I dont remember exactly what it said). Also, this only worked when I used xclock? I installed gedit on my linux subsystem, and it never even detected it when I tried running gedit.

So uh, yeah. I actually dont even know if I need to use vcxsrv or xorg. I dont even know if my DISPLAY variable needs to be set to my zerotier IP or some other IP, or even if I have to set up the display variable on the client machine or the server machine.
