I'm quite new to NX Open so pardon me if this is a trivial question. I have a 3D part file that I meshed using tetrahedrons, and applied some loads and constraints. The solver I will be using is FENICSx. The way FENICSx works in my project is that it expects facet data (and all associated nodes and elements to be grouped into that facet data) so that it can apply boundary conditions properly.
I was wondering if there is a way to extract facets and the nodes that lie on these facets through NX Open?
I've tried to manually query the edge and surface nodes using the "check association" tool. But saving the journal does not give me any information about the facets or the nodes.
