In this post there is a custom function built that returns data based on gviz query. How to use Google sheets query or Google visualization api from apps script?

But using this script on large sheet giving me error, SyntaxError: Expected double-quoted property name in JSON at position 52426097

Can anyone have idea what changes are required to handle this.
